In the darkness of the cellars

Our vintage champagnes always receive a minimum of five to six years’ ageing while our traditional ranges age for two or three years. The bottles are stored in the cool darkness of Bara's hundred-year-old cellars, which were dug by hand, 11 metres below ground. Here, the wines enjoy the ideal cool temperatures and constant levels of humidity in both summer and winter.

The purpose of this process is to give the wines time to fully express themselves and reach their optimum maturity.
